Ideally, there should be a guarantee that you won't have to pay more than X dollars to get your business off the ground.
What to avoid in a business opportunity:
*Never deal with any company that sends unsolicited SPAM emails.
*Don't pay money to join a business opportunity if the website claims that you can make money with no effort. All legitimate businesses do require some work.
*Never pay to join any opportunity that describes itself as a bubble, matrix, randomizer, HYIP, chain letter, or pyramid.
*Beware of business opportunities whose websites have frequent spelling mistakes or grammatical errors.
If you simply look for opportunities that follow these guidelines, you will avoid a lot of scams, and save yourself a lot of trouble. The fact is that most business opportunity websites, which do not follow all of them are not worth joining.
